In recent years, Independent Financial has successfully grown and expanded our footprint across Colorado and Texas, both organically and through acquisitions. Today, it’s no secret that we have an amazing organization and it starts with our people and their shared belief system – our corporate culture.

As we continue to serve more communities, we still remember the importance of building a meaningful connection with every customer. To help accomplish this, we’ve recrafted and introduced new Purpose (why we exist), Vision (who we are and who we want to be) and Mission (what we want to achieve) statements.

Biaggi’s is a casual Italian restaurant offering an extensive selection of house-made and imported pastas, soups & salads, pizza, seafood, steaks and desserts. Large portions of affordably priced menu selections are prepared with the freshest ingredients available and served in a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. We offer an extensive list of affordably priced wines from around the world, including Italy and the United States.

We invite the entire family to enjoy the Biaggi’s experience. A full Kids Menu is available and children are always welcome. For larger groups, many of the locations include a private event room and wine room, the perfect settings to make any gathering an event to remember.
 
History of Biaggi’s
 
The history of Biaggi’s is rooted in a graduate school business plan of Todd Hovenden’s while enrolled at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management MBA program. That business plan came to life in 1998 when Todd pursued a simple mission: to serve authentic, freshly prepared Italian cuisine in a warm and friendly environment with outstanding service and affordable prices. Biaggi’s opened the first location in Bloomington, IL on March 8, 1999 with construction of the second location in Champaign, IL underway on the same day.
Biaggi’s continues to operate as a privately held company and has expanded considerably since 1999 – now operating seventeen locations in nine states nationwide. Over the years Biaggi’s has been recognized and honored by various media outlets in each of its operating markets.

Here at First Watch, we begin each morning at the crack of dawn, slicing fresh fruits and vegetables, baking muffins and whipping up our French toast batter from scratch. Everything is made to order and freshness is never compromised. We don’t use heat lamps or deep fryers — we use only the finest ingredients possible for the freshest taste around. When you arrive, we welcome you with a pot — not just a cup — of our Project Sunrise coffee, along with complimentary newspapers and WiFi Internet access.

Scheels

In 1902, it all started with three acres of potatoes where the seed for the first SCHEELS store was planted. With $300 earned from his first harvest of potatoes, German immigrant Frederick A. Scheel placed a down payment on a small hardware and general merchandise store in Sabin, Minnesota. Once Frederick Scheel recognized his astonishing success with his home and hardware store, he began to expand SCHEELS into surrounding communities.
 
Today, SCHEELS is one of the largest sporting goods stores in America with over 115 years of retail experience with a superior quality of customer service and philanthropic support. As an employee-owned, privately held business, SCHEELS dedicates their consistent success to empowered associates, leaders, and partners who think and make decisions for their individual stores and the entire company. SCHEELS also gives back to the local communities, donating more than 10% of its profits to local charities and local non-profit organizations.
Currently, SCHEELS has 27 locations in 13 states, including North Dakota, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, Montana, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Nevada, Utah, Kansas, Colorado, and Texas. They will opening a second Colorado location in Colorado Springs, CO in 2021!”
