Personal Data
Born in Yuma, Colorado and moving to Fort Collins in 1967 I have made Northern Colorado my home for life.

After graduating from the University of Northern Colorado I began my teaching career at Walt Clark Middle School in the early 1980’s. I joined the Loveland Volunteer Fire Department in 1988 then had the opportunity to join the fire department full-time in the Fire Prevention Bureau. I spent the next 15 years at LFR engaged with the development community, city, county and regional government and emergency response. I worked my way up through the department ranks serving as Fire Inspector, Lieutenant, Captain, Fire Marshal and achieving my highest rank as Division Chief and Emergency Manager. I then had the privilege to serve as the Health, Safety and Security Manager at Platte River Power Authority.

After serving 24 years in the public sector of employment, I decided to venture into the private sector and began my life venture in Real Estate.

I’m married to my lovely and supportive wife Karen who works at the City of Loveland and have two wonderful step-daughters Jinnie and Tanya and two grand boys, Tyler and Tryston who live in Kansas with their mom, Jinnie.
