A Message from your Chamber President.

The Loveland Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors voted unanimously to support passage of the one cent sales tax increase, excluding groceries, that will be put before the voters of Loveland this November. While we know the timing is not great due to the Covid-19 crisis, it is important to think and act in ways which support a strong and healthy future for Loveland. There are many critical projects and services which need this additional funding. Passage will ensure the quality of life we have come to know and love in our community continues in the years ahead.
The last tax increase for Loveland was 36 years ago in 1984. The fact our City has made it this long living within their means is impressive.
The truth is we can no longer afford to have the same level of services without this tax increase. If this sales tax does not pass, Loveland will look very different from the one you and I know today. Our roads will fall into further disrepair, our fire response times will likely increase, and our traffic congestion will only get worse. This is not a tax to create new government programs. This is a tax increase to keep the services we currently have!
At the Chamber of Commerce, we always seek to support the initiatives which help our business community. This initiative means our businesses will continue to have the basic government services which support them and make this a great place to do business. We hope you will join us in supporting this initiative to secure Loveland’s future and ensure it is a great place to live, work, and play.
There are two ways to help the efforts right now.
  1. You can donate to the campaign HERE! We need resources to tell other Lovelanders why this initiative is so important.
  2. Join us at the Campaign Kickoff and sign-up to help with the campaign and get your yard sign.
