Little Miss Adi Mazza is a sweet 8-year-old entrepreneur with a heart of Gold. When she was 5 years old, she told her mom she didn’t want any presents for her birthday she wanted donations for St. Jude. For 3 years now she has been raising money for St. Jude to help kids fighting cancer. In her first two years she raised $10,000 each year by selling cookies at her cookie stands, a spaghetti dinner and having pampered chef parties. Did I mention that she comes from a tiny town in Colorado, Salida.

Adi recently made a special trip to Memphis, Tennessee where she was recognized by St. Jude by receiving the Jerry Nichols award.  And she may be the youngest person to have ever received this award.

This year she wanted to set the bar higher and raise $20,000 in one year.  This past Saturday, her friends though ESA- Gamma Chi Chapter held a Bunco fundraiser at High Country Beverage here in Loveland, CO. So, Adi and her mother Jenniffer and Grandma Cathy drove up to Loveland to try and reach her goal. Adi was about 4,600 dollars away from her goal. Well needless to say she has WELL exceeded her goal!  With more fundraising in her future, you can see her at the 129th Annual Loveland Corn Roast Festival at her cookie stand.  She keeps reaching for the stars because her ultimate goal is to raise $1 million dollars for St. Jude.
