Loveland, Colorado (March 11, 2015) – Perkins franchisee, CyHawk Hospitality today announced that two of their area Perkins Restaurants & Bakeries, namely the Loveland (2222 W. Eisenhower Blvd.) and Loveland/Crossroads (6020 Stallion Drive), will undergo remodeling, utilizing the same upgraded design and decor package being introduced by Perkins throughout the country.  The remodel package, developed by Louis+Partners Design out of Akron, Ohio, includes significant external and interior design elements all of which will, according to franchisee, Jim Rahfaldt, “will serve to further enhance our guests’ overall dining experience.”

To accommodate the project, these two Perkins locations will be temporarily closed, with the Eisenhower location closing at 7:00 PM on Sunday, March 15, and Crossroads closing on the Sunday, March 22.  The Eisenhower location will reopen on Saturday, March 21 at 7:00 AM, and the Crossroads location will re-open on Tuesday, March 24 at 7:00 AM. “While we regret any inconvenience these short term closures may cause our guests, we are extremely excited to unveil Perkins new look when we reopen.  There are many refreshing features that guests can look forward to, and we are confident that the community will find each of the upgrades comfortable and inviting.”

According to Rahfaldt, the exterior of the restaurant will include Perkins signature oval logo along with a welcoming interpretation of the entry arch and a contemporary take on the trademark green and white stripe awnings. Inside, guests will be drawn into a fresh, warm and welcoming environment that showcases an abundant bakery along with an array of dining zones. The dining areas will accommodate upwards of 190 guests, and offer different types of experiences through unique presentations in space layout, seating, lighting and graphics, creating greater overall appeal. Free WiFi will also be available.

The Loveland locations, staffed by approximately 75 employees, will feature Perkins full menu including breakfast items such as omelettes and buttermilk pancakes that will be available all day, a complete line of lunch and dinner offerings and Perkins freshly prepared bakery products. A seniors’ as well as a kids’ menu will also be offered. “What makes our menu so appealing is the fact that there is something for everyone.  And, needless to say, our commitment to providing excellent customer service, each and every visit, will round out the overall positive dining experience.” adds Rahfaldt.

Rahfaldt, who in 2014 was the recipient of Perkins & Marie Callender’s prestigious franchisee of the year award, has over the past eight years, together with his sons Nick and Matt, opened a total of thirteen Perkins® Restaurants & Bakeries in Iowa, Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska as well as Colorado.
