LOVELAND, COLO. – June 6, 2016 – The ninth annual Sounds of Centerra concert series returns to Chapungu
Sculpture Park at Centerra on Friday, July 8. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and find a comfortable spot on the Great Lawn to enjoy this year’s line-up from local and regional musicians. The performances will vary from
traditional melodies to classic rock to contemporary bands, offering something for everyone. The concerts will be
held on the Great Lawn from 7 to 9 p.m. and are free to the public. Complimentary popcorn and water will be
provided by Thompson Valley High School Band Boosters, while supplies last.
The line-up for the 2016 Sounds of Centerra outdoor concert series includes:
July 8: The 101st Army Dixieland Band – Jazz
July 15: Micheal Scott Band – Country
July 22: The Scones – Americana
July 29: Soul School – Funk, R&B, Soul
August 5: The Commoners – Irish Rock
August 12: Hey, Lady! – B-52’s Tribute Band
Chapungu Sculpture Park is conveniently located at I-25 and US 34 on the corner of Centerra Parkway and KendallParkway just east of Macy’s at The Promenade Shops at Centerra.
