O: (970)669-2977 | F: (970)669-0553 | kimberly.artis@usbank.com

I have been an employee of U.S. Bank for almost 10 years. Most of this time has been spent as a personal banker. I truly enjoy my job and love making banking a fun experience. My goal with every customer is to have them leave my desk happier than when they came in.

What do you like best about being an ambassador?

My favorite part of being an Ambassador is feeling like an integral part of the business community.  I also enjoy continually discovering new businesses that I may never have known about without the Ambassador opportunity.

What keeps her going? “My motivation is to make today better than yesterday and to learn at least one new thing daily. I pride myself in my customer service skills. I always strive to be the best and give the best service.”

Plenty of hobbies hold her attention, including stained glass, mosaics, crocheting, needlework, sewing, camping and reading. She love spending time with their 5 grandchildren.

“Reading has given me a better understanding of the laws of the universe and how to align and consistently utilize a positive perspective to approach all of life.”

Cathy and her husband Rocci are apt to take off for her favorite place - Santa Fe – with their two furry children, Max and Carrie. The corgis love going everywhere they go, especially in their motorhome.

“Adams Bank and Trust's corporate philosophy is to establish a genuine rapport with our customers.”

Cathy goes on to say how much the networking and being in involved in the community is a natural extension of her business approach.

“This is what I like best, being involved in the community. And getting to know people, developing personal connections not only with our customers, but also with business associates I meet through Chamber functions and other Ambassadors.. They often become friends.”

Vince Deely
Director of Marketing & Resource Development
Loveland Habitat for Humanity
O: (970) 669-9769 | C: 305-496-1137 | vince@lovelandhabitat.org

I have a varied background, stretching from packaged goods advertising to cruise lines, and a few years working on Hurricane Katrina recovery efforts for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in New Orleans and Biloxi, MS.

My family moved to Loveland in 2011 and I now work at Loveland Habitat for Humanity, directing marketing and fundraising, to increase our capacity to build decent, affordable housing for low and moderate income families in Loveland. In my role, I have met many generous and giving people throughout Loveland and Northern Colorado. It’s a great place to live and work.

What do you like best about being an ambassador?

As someone who is considered “quiet,” being an Ambassador has helped me grow as an individual and professional, and I’m now comfortable speaking in front of groups and networking. Joining the Chamber and Ambassadors is a fantastic way to meet new people, who share a common bond and interest in helping businesses grow and thrive. If you’re looking to get involved in all things Loveland, the Chamber is the place to be.

Through ACN you can work part or full time offering the products and services people already need and use every day, including: Phone Service, High Speed Internet, Natural Gas and Electricity, Wireless, Television, Home Security and Automation and Computer Support.

What do you like best about being an ambassador?

By interacting with other Ambassadors I get to know them on a more personal level and can learn even more about their businesses. I like being able to do business with and refer people to business owners I know and trust.

Chris Johnson
Executive Director
Be the Gift Incorporated
O: 970-691-8777 | chris@bethegift.com

I graduated from Loveland High School, relocated for a short time for school and work, then returned with my wife Marilyn and our two children to the great city of Loveland in 1989. We have lived here ever since. I was fortunate and blessed to work in a local church for twenty years where I specialized in youth, family and outreach areas.

Seeing the continuous needs of single moms and their children, Marilyn and I founded a community wide, faith based non-profit organization called Be the Gift. Be the Gift provides home repair to single mom families through the support and assistance of volunteers in the community. We believe that everyone has a dream and desire of doing something significant with his or her life. We are connecting every day ordinary people with an opportunity to do extraordinary things by facilitating hope, acceptance, compassion and change in our community through the single mom home repair projects. Simply put, we are connecting those who want to help with those who could use help: A win-win for the single moms, their children and the community we all live in.

What do you like best about being an ambassador?

Being an Ambassador for the Chamber has given me the opportunity to meet new people and learn about existing and upcoming businesses in our city. This was an inroad that I could never have explored or discovered on my own.

I enjoy the weekly and monthly events to associate and network, hear and see the potential and greatness of people, unify and cultivate relationships with community leaders, businesses and individuals.  The Chamber has given me a far better sense of community pride where we all can come together to build something special, not just in each other’s business but in Loveland and Northern Colorado.

Maryjo "Mj" Morgan
Co-Owner
Fred's Used Websites
O: 970-663-4184 | C: 970-690-4934 | Maryjo@FredsUsedWebsites.com

When you meet me, I am likely as not to be wearing a hat. Professionally I wear two hats - one as a freelance writer and one as a principal in Fred's Used Websites.

Writing to me means wielding a spotlight. Whether I'm extolling a person's abilities, creativity or business acumen, I seek to encourage and enlighten readers. I have the best job in the world! I get paid and satisfy my relentless curiosity at the same time. Bios and case studies are my favorite assignments.

My husband Fred Richart and I are both active in our Chamber of Commerce; we have been thrilled with the visibility and credibility Chamber membership affords our business. I practice networking and TOMA (top of mind awareness) marketing, always hoping to provide connections among my colleagues and fellow Chamber investors. I spend plenty of time at the keyboard, either wearing my freelancer's hat (MaryjoFaithMorgan.com) or my fine-feathered cap as partner in FredsUsedWebsites.com.

I believe in our custom websites and user-friendly CMS. I enjoy enabling our clients to edit, expand and monetize their web presence. Whenever our workload allows, Fred and I pedal our tandem all over Northern Colorado bike trails.

What do you like best about being an ambassador?

I really like meeting Chamber investors and their guests at Chamber events. It is fun to introduce them to others and help them make more connections. Our ambassadors are such fine folks, I like being in their company at these events, too!

Becky Pelle
Blackjack Pizza
O: 970-669-1717 | C: 970-227-8146 | beckyp@lovelandpizza.com

Throughout most of my adult life I have shared the responsibilities of being a small business owner with my husband Ed. We've ventured in franchise business as well as independent ownership.  Our latest and longest running adventure is with Blackjack Pizza. Thirteen years ago we purchased the Blackjack Franchise and haven't looked back since.

As an owner I've experienced it all in the pizza-making realm. From the basics of making dough to complete management of the store which includes but is not limited to bookkeeping, marketing and personnel management.

What do you like best about being an ambassador?

What I love about being an Ambassador is the opportunities to meet new people and share in helping our community grow, utilizing the Ambassador Program.  The Ambassadors are an extremely fun and interesting group to be part of.

We can do that.  Like a traditional dental office we do dental cleanings - both healthy and gum disease, x-rays, exams, fluorides and sealants.  We do take insurance assignments but our main client is uninsured.  Need a dentist - we can refer you to someone that meets your needs.

What do you like best about being an ambassador?

Since joining the Loveland Chamber I have made many wonderful friends and enjoy a great comraderie with other business owners.  I love meeting other business owners and learning about what is available in our great 'little' town of Loveland. The Loveland Chamber is a great place to get to know the area and the people that shop and live here.

Don Reilly
Photographer - Owner
DJR Imaging
C: 970-744-0176 | don@djrimaging.com

My photography business is now 11+ plus years old, based here in Loveland. Because it offers “on location” photographic services to clients and a growing portfolio of stock photography, it operates wherever a client and I choose to work together. For me, photography is truly a passion driven largely by the opportunity to help clients visually “tell a story.”

I especially enjoy finding new picture composition perspectives with attractive lighting that grab a viewer's eye. In particular, my business and arts clients, are looking for photo images that grab attention and tell a story......usually on their website or in a particular promotion. Photographing “on location” is a convenience, is cost/effective and enables capturing images about a business, it’s product or service, it’s facilities, it’s people and more, that enhances the telling of a story. I’m open to new ideas and approaches, with a real effort at listening, to what clients want to achieve with the images I create for them. Preplanning is valuable.

My interests lean toward serving businesses and the arts, where the dynamics of the Loveland Chamber makes for a perfect match as I seek to broaden my effort to the important, “it’s who knows me, not who I know” circle of friends. Click HERE to see some examples of my work.

What do you like best about being an ambassador?

Being an Ambassador is positive in many ways. As I’m interested in a broad range of businesses; the Loveland area has in abundance. Thus, I’ve had the opportunity to be involved with and visit many different kinds of business. The Ambassadors serve a very positive function in helping the Chamber realize it’s mission and particularly as examples of the potential offered by the Chamber to members and prospective members. And, it is simply fun!

I strongly encourage any business who wants the opportunity to gain insight into the community and to meet and work with other community businesses, to become a member of ........ Loveland Chamber Ambassadors. With a little experience and involvement by being an active Ambassador, each will find many beneficial dividends for their business.

Bob Skillman
Broker Associate / Partner
The Group Inc. Real Estate
O: 970-613-0700 | F: 970-667-7955 | C: 970-631-2257 | bskillman@thegroupinc.com

Living in Northern Colorado has benn a true blessing for me and my family. I was born in Yuma, Colorado and moved to Fort Collins with my family in the late 1960’s. In 1968 my parents opend a photography studio in Fort Collins known as Skillman Photography. Over the years this is where I learned the value of customer service and this is one of the main reasons Skillman Photography is still in business today.

After 20 years in the fire service, I chose to start a new career in Real Estate. In 2009 I joined The Group Inc. Real Estate and have enjoyed every minute of it. I was awared “Rookie of the Year” in 2010 by the Loveland-Berthoud Realtors Association and have been elected to the Loveland-Berthoud Realtors Assooicate  Board of Realtors the past two years. I have enjoyed working with first time home buyers, those moving into the communtiy for either work or play or needing to leave the area, helping those who have found their mortages are upside down and needing to find solutions, to those who want to up-size or down-size their homes. I truly enjoy getting to know my clients with the hope of becoming long time friends along with being their trusted real estate advisor.

What do you like best about being an ambassador?

Like all organizations, you only get out of it what you put into it. I have tried to be as active in the Loveland Chamber as my schedule allows me. Being an Ambassador has allowed me to meet new business owners in the community along with getting reacquainted with those I have known in the past. By doing so, I am more connected to our business community, have a better pulse on our local business environment and of course, get a chance to promote my business.
