The Community
Loveland provides services, products and opportunities for people of all
ages from numerous youth and athletic organizations to activities for
our seniors. As Loveland continues to grow, the hometown atmosphere
remains the focus of its residents, leaders and businesses.
Loveland enjoys one of the lowest crime rates in the state of Colorado.
The Loveland Police Department is nationally accredited and committed to
community-oriented policing.
The Loveland Historic Museum/Gallery, located in the heart of downtown,
is a center for arts events, educational programs and exhibitions
featuring regional, national and internationally recognized artists.
The museum also includes permanent and changing history exhibits, which
illuminate the natural and social history of the Big Thompson Valley.
Cultural arts are apparent in Loveland with many musical organizations
including bands and orchestras, choral groups, a community theater, and
two dance centers. During the summer months, free concerts are offered
at three outdoor venues. Loveland artists thrive on their community's
support and the community thrives on its art.
Several large events occur during the summer months - the 4th of July
festival, Sculpture in the Park and the Sculpture Invitational, Art in
the Park, the Larimer County Fair, and the Corn Roast Festival -
bringing the community together.

facilities, police services, and a large meeting/ conference room. This
100,000 sq. ft. building was dedicated on May 7, 2002 "to the men and
women who commit their lives to upholding the Constitution and laws for
our protection and safety."
