Colorado voters reject ballot initiatives 60, 61, and 101

We did it!

Thank you to everyone who voted no and campaigned against these Ugly 3! Your efforts have secured the defeat of these three ballot measures. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Why The Loveland Chamber Opposes Amendments 60 & 61 and Proposition 101

This opposition comes directly from the recommendation of the Chamber’s Local Legislative Affairs Committee and was approved with a resolution by the Board of Directors during its Aug. 11 meeting.

The three ballot initiatives ineffectively address wasteful government spending, use deceptive language that could ruin the Taxpayers Bill of Rights (TABOR) and ultimately, would destroy Loveland’s economy by chasing businesses away from Loveland and the entire state of Colorado.
