Culinary Academy Opening at Sunrise Ranch

By Larry Pearlman

Sunrise Ranch

Faculty and Management of the Sunrise Ranch Culinary Academy
Sunrise Ranch has assembled a focused team to teach principles of classical French cuisine, as well as a basic introduction to nutritional theory along with practical application as students prepare daily meals for up to 150 people.

The primary focus of the Sunrise Ranch Culinary Academy is to develop and teach Farm-to-Table food culture, drawing on Sunrise Ranch produce and livestock, plus local growers, producers and distributors of wholesome, unadulterated food.  It is committed to quality education and creating a learning environment that offers students an alternative to the mass-produced, industrial commercialization of foods.  The seven-month program operates from April 1-October 31, 2013.  For more information or to register, contact Chef Joel Navejas at 970-679-4244 or
