Rosemary Prawzdik, The Ranch

March 2010 - Featured Monthly Investor

Rosemary Prawdzik - The Ranch

As the March Featured Monthly Investor, Prawdzik’s contribution to the Loveland Chamber can be summed up in one phrase, which encompasses so much.

“Rosemary is incredibly supportive,” said Brian Willms, president and CEO of the Loveland Chamber of Commerce.

Prawdzik is active on the Local Legislative Affairs Committee, contributed many hours to ensure that the 2010 Annual Investors Dinner – complete with its silent auction – was a success and maximizes her investment by attending several events throughout the year. As you can tell, Prawdzik is anything but inactive.

Prawdzik came to the rescue as a last minute addition to the Annual Investor’s Meeting Committee, where she jumped right in to create fun ‘challenge’ ideas and spearheaded logistics and ideas for the silent auction – the Loveland Chamber’s first as part of its Annual Dinner. She didn’t simply delegate jobs; she put her own sweat into making the silent auction a success by compiling bid sheets, wrapping the items to look presentable and facilitating biding. Prawdzik has jumped at any chance to help in any way possible.

Rosemary is a loyal Chamber supporter. She attends various Business After Hours and offers feedback on Chamber communication to make sure it is the best work put out there. When interviewing the Chamber staff as to why Rosemary was the best candidate for the monthly investor, the words dedication, energy, time and feedback were thrown around. All of these words make up Prawdzik, an exceptional person whose work ethic has colleagues and professionals fighting to have her on their committees or projects.

According to Willms, Prawdzik has been incredibly active on the Local Legislative Affairs Committee. Formed in March of 2009, this committee has taken political action in local legislature, creating a voice for Loveland business. Brian described this committee as an active one with Rosemary serving as a key team player. Prawzdik has only missed meeting over the duration of the past year and a half, and most likely because she was tied up with another committee or project, further demonstrating her commitment and support of the issues she is involved with. Rosemary took action by being apart of this committee and interviewed candidates and created the profile questionnaire for candidates.

According to Rosemary

“Being an involved member of the Chamber has enabled me to feel a real sense of community. Now, when I attend community events, I often see and connect with people I've met through the Chamber. I feel a sense of belonging that escaped me prior to becoming truly involved with the Chamber. While I have attended BAH regularly, I find most satisfaction working on the Legislative Affairs and the Annual Dinner Committees - the connections are stronger when you work towards a common goal. For those considering a Chamber investment, I give you this advice: Like anything else, the more you sow, the more you reap. Get involved beyond attending BAH.”

Want to catch up and connect with Rosemary? She will likely be at the following events: • Thurs. March 11, 4:00 p.m. – Local Legislative Affairs Committee @Loveland Chamber • Wed. March 24, 5:30 p.m. – Regional BAH @Candlelight Dinner Playhouse
