Maryjo Morgan, Fred's Used Websites

mARCH 2013 - Featured Monthly Investor

All through the month of February, Loveland businesses come alive with decorations in honor of the Valentine Business Decorating Contest. The contest is the brainchild of the Loveland Chamber of Commerce’s Marketing Resource Committee. The success of this contest in 2013, its best year yet, would not have been possible without the unwavering leadership and commitment of Maryjo Morgan with Fred’s Used Websites. Maryjo’s participation as part of the Marketing Resource Committee as well as her involvement with the chamber and community is why she was named the March Featured Monthly Investor.

“She is a leader who devotes tons of time to the chamber, Loveland businesses and community,” said Jim Lutey, with Follow Up Marketing Experts.  “Maryjo is personable and professional in all she does.”

Much of the Business Decorating Contest planning was completed in 2012. As 2012 co-chair of the committee, Maryjo was a great leader to the group in addition to managing all of the behind-the-scenes website and content updates that pushed online voting and promotion.

“Her passion for the community and her commitment to service before self is undeniable,” said Mindy McCloughan, CEO of the Chamber of Commerce.  “All of her hard work on the Marketing Resource Committee has paved the way for great success for our businesses. We are proud to have her.”

Maryjo’s commitment to the chamber does not end with the Marketing Resource Committee. She is active as an ambassador and is a regular attendee at Business After Hours as well as Business Before Hours. In fact, Maryjo was recognized as the 2012 Chamber of Commerce Rookie Ambassador of the Year. She encourages all members to get plugged in with the chamber and involved in different committees and leadership roles.

“She is an inspiration to all of us to work hard, pursue our dreams and ask not what our chamber can do for us, but ask what we can do for our chamber,” said Amanda White, creative director with Grow Secure and the 2013 co-chair of the chamber’s Marketing Resource Committee.
