Rocci Bryan

July 2012 - Featured Monthly Investor

Service to the chamber has a profound impact on the chamber’s mission of promoting business and community prosperity. This point is evident as vice chair of the chamber Ambassadors, Rocci Bryan has showcased his service through his eagerness to volunteer when needed and as someone who cares and exemplifies absolute dedication to the chamber all while maintaining a positive standing with the local business community.

As a residential mortgage loan consultant many have found Rocci to be courteous, prompt and patient within and outside of his professional realm. He continually volunteers when he can, speaks highly of the chamber and truly believes in what the chamber has to offer. Attending as many events as possible, Ribbon Cuttings, Business Before and After Hours, Net Leads Groups and Masterminds III, leads Rocci to believe that the more you put into your chamber investment the more you get out of it.

“Rocci is an outstanding leader that clearly exhibits strong character with sheer determination to help the chamber succeed. His passion and commitment to the community is evident in all that he does. I appreciate his perseverance and outgoing personality and I look forward to working with him for years to come,” said chamber president/CEO Mindy Moree.

“I have appreciated Rocci’s ability to organize and lead as I have gotten to know him through the chamber’s Ambassador Program. He has been willing to put forth the effort to get things done and is very practical and reasonable in his decision making,” said Dave Clark, general manager of Candlelight Dinner Playhouse and current Loveland chamber board chair.

In addition to being active as an ambassador, he has stepped up as corn sales chair for the Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival and will also be assisting the corn cooking team for the event to help with staffing.  As co-chair of the Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival, Amy Ayer with the Best Western Crossroads Inn & Conference Center recalls her first encounter with Rocci.  “I met Rocci last year working on the Corn Roast Committee. In addition to his time, he often volunteered his personal equipment to get the job done and was always upbeat and encouraging. I have also gotten to know Rocci more through chamber events where he is acting as Ambassador and/ or host of an event. He goes out of his way to greet guests and to make sure we are all comfortable and have what we need. That’s his best quality- a true, kind person that cares for others.”

Hear it from Rocci:

How have you capitalized on your Loveland Chamber investment and what has it brought you?

I try to attend as many chamber functions as possible in order to meet as many investors as I can. By being involved in the Ambassador program and attending Ribbon Cuttings, Business Before Hours and Business After Hours, as well as the Net Gains Leads Group and Masterminds III I have been able to meet people from other industries that I would not have been able to meet. By attending these events I am better able to understand what people are doing to improve their business and get better exposure in the community.

What Chamber events, committees etc. do you find the most valuable?

I am very partial to the Ambassador Committee and the things that these dedicated groups of individuals do to promote the Loveland Chamber. Currently I am the vice chairman of this committee and find that this is the most rewarding opportunity for me.

What would you say to someone considering Chamber investment?

I try to say this at the Ribbon Cuttings, during mentoring calls to new investors, as well the thank you calls I make to current investors:, "Take advantage of ALL the committees, leads groups, social events and educational opportunities the Loveland Chamber has to offer. The more you put into your Chamber Investment, the more you will get in return".

What has been the top benefit to you for your chamber involvement?

The networking opportunities I have been able to experience. I am a residential mortgage loan consultant. Being in the Loveland Chamber has allowed me to meet realtors, insurance agents, financial advisors, builders, small business leaders, politicians as well as individuals from other industries. By having these contacts I am able to be the mortgage expert they can rely for their personal needs or if they have a client who is in need of a mortgage loan.

Which events will we see you at in July and this summer?

I will be the chief CHEF (LOL) at the Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival. I volunteered to cook corn at this year’s event since Rich Rasmussen, our corn chef for many years, will be unavailable attending his daughter’s wedding. I will also be attending as many Ribbon Cuttings, Business Before Hours and Business After Hours as possible, all while representing the Ambassador Committee and promoting the Loveland Chamber of Commerce.
