Dave Clark, Candlelight Dinner Playhouse

June 2012 - Featured Monthly Investor

As a member of the Chamber for more than 20 years, it’s no doubt that Dave Clark with Candlelight Dinner Playhouse has been an instrumental part of the Loveland Chamber of Commerce’s success. From his contributions on the chamber board's finance committee to his continued and active voice as an advocate for business, Dave has shown his commitment to business and the community. For his continued contributions to the chamber, he has been named the May 2012 Featured Monthly Investor.

As treasurer and main member of chamber board’s finance committee, Dave has been a strong voice, helping the chamber look out for its bottom line. As a business owner with experience in a variety of industries, Dave’s business sense has guided the chamber, and the community, in a variety of ways. Being an advocate for business and the local community, he has always put the interest of the chamber first, hoping to meet the needs of and create a stronger voice for businesses in a rapid growing region.

In recent months, as board chair, Dave has been a key leader in the transition and hiring process of chamber president/CEO Mindy Moree. During this transition, Dave stepped up and worked directly with chamber staff, committees and contractors to ensure that day-to-day operations of the chamber didn’t falter.  All while leading the board of directors through the extensive process of hiring Mindy to lead the chamber through one of its most exciting times in recent history.

Susan Arbini with Banner Occupational Health Services and 2012 chair of the Loveland Chamber Ambassadors believes that Dave’s leadership of the chamber through this transition has been instrumental. “He is steady as a rock and is always willing to listen and help. He has sacrificed time from his business and other obligations to assure the success of the Loveland Chamber. On behalf of the Chamber Ambassadors, I appreciate his help and support!”

Rocci Bryan with US Bank and vice chair of the Ambassadors adds, “Dave was instrumental in arranging, and helping the Ambassadors understand the changes that were happening during the transition from Brian Willms leaving and the hiring of Mindy Moree. Some members of the Ambassador Committee wanted to know more about what was happening and Dave quickly arranged a meeting between the ambassadors and the board to explain the process of hiring a new CEO/President. With Dave's guidance and leadership the Ambassadors could better grasp the complexity of the transition as well as the vision for the Loveland Chamber of Commerce.”

“I am impressed with the vast amount of time and the exuberant amount of effort that Dave has contributed to the Chamber these last few months, while at the same time running his two businesses, “said Miki Roth with the Group Real Estate and longtime chamber investor/board member. “Dave has put in countless hours on the Chamber's behalf, and we are excited to see his innovative ideas for the future.”

"In making my decision to move to Loveland, I found Dave to be a great resource to lean upon as he truly is a great example of a leader with a strong since of community pride and takes ownership in whatever he does. His passion and energy was contagious and it made me what to be a part of this wonderful community. The Loveland Chamber is blessed to have him as the chair," said Mindy Moree.
