Noreen Flood, Daily Money Solutions

May 2012 - Featured Monthly Investor

Being a Loveland Chamber of Commerce ambassador is a role that is served with pride, passion and commitment to business. Noreen Flood with Daily Money Solutions is a chamber investor who fits that description perfectly. For her contributions to the chamber as an ambassador and volunteer, Noreen has been recognized as the chamber’s May 2012 Featured Monthly Investor.

The ambassador team is an extension of the chamber staff. These volunteers are essential to the success of chamber events as well as membership recruitment and retention. Noreen regularly volunteers to help at Business After Hours, Business Before Hours, investor ribbon cuttings, and with investor thank you calls. She contributed greatly to the chamber’s Annual Dinner in January 2012 as well.

Noreen is known throughout the chamber community for her professionalism and positive presence. As an advocate for the chamber, Noreen can be found educating new members about the chamber’s programs, events and offering to help them maximize their investments.

Hear it from Noreen:

How have you capitalized on your Loveland Chamber investment and what has it brought you?

I have taken advantage of the opportunity to connect with other small businesses in Loveland at various ribbon cuttings, BAH and BBH and to learn what prompted them to start the business, I love hearing the stories!  By connecting with people I often learn of individuals or businesses that may need my services and it offers me the opportunity to meet with them.

What Chamber events, committees etc. do you find the most valuable?

For me, the best thing has been being an ambassador.  Connecting with the other ambassadors, and the ribbon cuttings afford me the opportunity to meet businesses and the people who awn them, or are involved with the business, on their turf, in a welcoming atmosphere, what a great introduction!

What would you say to someone considering Chamber investment?

It’s definitely worth the investment, you will get out of it, what you put into it.

What has been the top benefit to you for your chamber involvement?

New connections, the more people that know what I do, the better; it’s like have a sales force for my business!

Which events will we see you at in May?

BBH and BAH, and the Ambassador meeting, along with 4-5 ribbon cuttings.
