Bob & Gail Snyder, Bob Snyder Insurance Agency, Inc.

July 2010 - Featured Monthly Investor

When you think of the Loveland Chamber of Commerce investors who wear and have worn the most hats within the Chamber, Bob and Gail Snyder with Bob Snyder Insurance Agency, Inc. accelerate to the top of the list.

Loveland Chamber CEO Brian Willms takes pride in claiming that, ‘Everyone in Loveland – and certainly its business community – know Bob and Gail.” Perhaps this is due to their vast community involvement, genuine business practices and customer service, their ability to survive and thrive despite the economic storm or their clear cut business leadership. If you ask the Chamber, the answer is ‘all of the above’.

“The Snyder’s are some of the most committed investors the Loveland Chamber has. They are quick to volunteer to help, almost always say yes when asked to assist and certainly quick to help many of our other investors with their business needs too,” said Willms. “Our other Chamber investors are getting tremendous value by being able to work and network with the Snyders in Loveland. We feel fortunate to have them on board.”

Whether it is the monthly Business After Hours or out-and-about at the Annual Corn Roast Festival, the Snyders can be considered an ‘it’ couple for the business community and have supported the Loveland Chamber of Commerce through various opportunities.

Most recently, the Snyders won the Loveland Chamber of Commerce’s first ever Survivor Award, given to the investor that has best implemented tactics and planning to survive the economic downturn. This award is unique in that the actual attendees of the Loveland Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner chose the winners out of submitted videos that same evening.

Serving on the Loveland Chamber board of directors from 2003-2009, Bob has worked with other board leaders to facilitate policy and decisions affecting the Loveland Chamber over the course of many successful and transitional years. As the 2005 board chair, Bob lead a key group to achieve the Chamber’s mission during that time. In addition, Bob has served as an Ambassador, has graduated from Leadership Loveland and has volunteered at the Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival for many years. Currently, Bob serves on two Chamber committees – the Local Legislative Affairs Committee and Loveland Unite - and participates regularly in the Chamber’s Early Birds Leads Group.

Gail has supported the Chamber through her commitment as an ambassador and has not only attended most events but has been a presenter at leads groups and special events. She has always supported Bob in his efforts to make the Chamber a better tool for Loveland’s business community to utilize. Gail was instrumental in the Loveland Chamber’s Business InSights panel on the healthcare reform, assisting the Chamber with the overall vision for the event and with details that would be beneficial for investors to know.

“Bob and Gail have been a part of the Chamber for as far back as I can remember. Bob has been on the Board, on many committees and one of the most dependable guys you could ask for when it comes to helping out at the Corn Roast,” said Jim Worthen, director of investor services. “
