Colorado Launches Flood Information Website
Chamber president Mindy McCloughan was present October 15th as Gov. John Hickenlooper visited the chamber to announce the launch of a new website, ColoradoUnited.com. The site will provide information about recovery efforts related to the September flooding in Colorado, including recovery news, current info about impacted areas, how to get help, an online contact form and a map that includes road closures, shelters, weather conditions and current traffic conditions.

For those affected by the flooding, Loveland Chamber of Commerce CEO Mindy McCloughan says, "I urge you to see what resources are available to help you rebuild and recover. If you sustained loss or damage and live in Boulder, Larimer, Adams or Weld County, you should immediately register for disaster assistance by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or by visiting DisasterAssistance.gov.

Self-employed, sole proprietors may be eligible for unemployment benefits through the Colorado Dept. of Labor and Employment; a representative will be at the Disaster Assistance Center beginning September 24th.
